ITV viewers have been left in disbelief after finding out Dr Hilary Jones' real age, as he celebrated a milestone birthday on Good Morning Britain and Lorraine. The star was on our screens yesterday morning (June 19) but fans are shocked to find out how old the doctor and presenter is.
Dr Jones, known for his TV and radio appearances has appeared on ITV for more than three decades. He was joined on the couch yesterday by colleagues, who asked the star how he was feeling about the big day, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Dr Jones was born in 1953 and turned 70. Speaking to his colleagues, he said: “Fantastic. Looking forward to my next marathon. 98 was the oldest man who ran the marathon so there’s life in the old dog yet.”

Professor Jonathan Van-Tam, former deputy chief medical officer for England, also left a video message. He told Dr Hilary: “You’ve been a great communicator on the subject of health for many years, and you’re a great colleague during the pandemic. Have a wonderful day.”
Ranvir Singh also rolled out a specially-themed cake, as the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS choir sang 'Happy Birthday' in the studio, while his birthday was also celebrated on Lorraine.
Stunned viewers took to Twitter to share their disbelief at Dr Hilary's age. John Henry Horne tweeted: "@DrHilaryJones Happy 70th birthday to a doctoring legend Hilary, you have helped so many people over your years as the doctor on morning TV, you're an inspirational chap who doesn't look your age. Have a fabulous birthday Dr Hilary."
Donna Diz said: "He doesn't look a day over 40! Still as handsome as ever." And Nana B tweeted: "SEVENTY! SEVENTY! @DrHilaryJones is 70 today. Flipping ‘eck he’s looking good."
