BBC viewers have all been making a similar comment about Sarah Lancashire, as they hailed drama series Happy Valley as 'the best show on TV', with many left disappointed that it won't be returning after the current season.
Fans of the gritty police drama, which airs new episodes of its third and final season on BBC on Sundays, have been quick to praise Oldham's own Sarah Lancashire, who stars as Sergeant Catherine Cawood. Lancashire has proved a hit with viewers yet again who flocked to social media to share their thoughts on the show, with many saying it was 'the best' on TV as they demand another season.
Three episodes have aired so far of the new season, which has seen Catherine discover the remains of a gangland murder victim in a drained reservoir, which sets off a chain of events and leads her back to prisoner Tommy Lee Royce, the man who raped her daughter.
