ITV This Morning viewers respond seconds into the show as they notice change alongside Holly and Phillip

This Morning viewers were flocking to social media to comment just seconds into the latest edition of the show as they spotted a change. Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were back fronting the ITV daytime programme on Wednesday (November 2).

The pair had another busy show on their hands with studio guests and the news, beauty, and cooking segments. One of their guests, who appeared live in the studio, was the star of global hit film Encanto and the voice of Luisa Madrigal, Jessica Darrow There was also chat with 3/4 of boyband Blue, as Lee Ryan takes time off with his new baby daughter.

The remaining members Duncan James, Antony Costa and Simon Webb also gave a performance of their new single, Haven't Found You Yet, as they prepare to go off on tour, 20 years after bursting onto the scene with memorable track such as All Rise.

But it was something at the start of the show that viewers could quite believe. Following the opening credits, Holly, 41, and Phillip, 60, appeared on screen. "Hello, good morning," Holly said before adding: "Oo, that sounds nice doesn't it?" referring to the fact Michael Buble's version of It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas was playing out in the studio.

And it was hard to not notice the Christmas tree that appeared behind the hosts as Holly reminded viewers that on yesterday's show, they started the countdown to Christmas following their impressive Halloween special episode on Monday. Phillip then started to chat about Christmas films before introducing a look at a new festive movie heading to cinemas in a matter of weeks.

The show gave viewers a look at Spirited, a musical version of Charles Dickens's story of a miserly misanthrope who is taken on a magical journey. It stars Elf favourite Will Ferrell and Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds and will be available to Apple TV+ subscribers and in cinema for a limited time.

But This Morning viewers were initially left puzzled by the sight of a Christmas tree - even though it didn't stick around for the entire show. @TheRealDeclanK1 asked: "Why is there a Christmas tree on #ThisMorning." @Garcon_Marc tweeted: "Not the Christmas tree already up #ThisMorning." @UKTVForever said: "#ThisMorning WTF it’s Not even December yet & the TM studio has got the Xmas Tree up."

@cyclelizzy replied "Far to early for Christmas tree, only just November. Haven’t even had Remembrance Day yet. #ThisMorning." @ElaineW32180571 wrote: "Seriously #ThisMorning have their Xmas tree up. It's not even December yet." @MitchellWebb85 added: "@thismorning take the tree down guys it’s way to early! #ThisMorning."
