Phillip Schofield may not be taking the lead on any beauty segments on This Morning anytime soon if his latest video is anything to go by. The presenter took to Instagram on Tuesday night (June 21) after his latest stint on the ITV daytime show alongside Holly Willoughby.
After a busy day at work and another to come on Wednesday, the 60-year-old decided to head to bed and relax with a face mask. However, it appeared to be more stressful than relaxing.
Phillip took to his Instagram Stories with a video of himself laying down with the moisturising sheet on his face. "Help!!!" he wrote alongside the clips as he sighed while trying to smooth out the mask which rendered him almost unrecognisable.

"I'm so rubbish at this," he moaned while tucked under his white quilt with a black headboard seen in the background. "I can't smooth it out," he complained. "Urgh, it's stuck in my eye!"
He continued to struggle with his at-home treatment with plenty more sighs. "It feels nice," he did admit before returning 20 minutes later. "There's more wrinkles in the mask than there are on my face," Phillip commented before the mask began to slip from his face. "Oh look, this isn't right at all," he grumbled. "Oh God!"
"I think I should have been standing up to do this," he said before his trademark husky laugh came flooding out. "This was a very bad idea. I'm so s**t at this," he continued to laugh before admitting defeat. Phillip then shared a picture of the mask he had used and said: "I'm so sorry #bromask it's clearly me and not you," before showing the remnants of the mask on the floor. "It's like a horror movie," he joked as the sheet melted into the floor.
At the start of this week Phillip had an emotional moment on This Morning when he momentarily burst into tears while talking to Dame Kelly Holmes about coming out. The two-time gold medal-winning Olympic champion told the world she was gay over the weekend after keeping her sexuality private for over 30 years.
The sports star appeared on the popular show on Monday (June 20) to talk to Phillip, who himself revealed he was gay on the ITV daytime show in February 2021, and his co-host Holly Willoughby.
Things got off to an emotional start as the hosts introduced Kelly, 52, before showing a clip of her upcoming film which heard her say she was 'petrified' about making the doc about being gay and how she hid her true feelings for more than 30 years. Returning live to the famous sofa, Dame Kelly was seen getting emotional.
Further into the interview, Phillip struggled as he said; "Yesterday, you said on Instagram that you were scared. I think I wrote back 'don't be scared' because it'll be ok..." the TV presenter then had to stop as Holly, 41, placed a supportive hand on his leg while also appearing tearful.
