Phillip Schofield has been replaced at the helm of This Morning for this week.
The presenter normally joins co-host Holly Willoughby on the ITV daytime show. But this week Alison Hammond has stepped in to fill his shoes.
The former Big Brother star confirmed the news on Friday morning as she said: "Guess what, I'm going to be hosting. Monday, 10 o'clock, see you there!"

But not all viewers of the ITV show were best pleased with the news. On Twitter, one user said: "Holly & Allison presenting this morning, it will be an interesting dynamic today.
"Is Alison going to overpower Holly & take over the presenting? Is Holly going to find Alison's laugh irritating? Is Alison going to find Holly's energy on the show dull & boring? #thismorning."
Another user said: "The dream team for current affairs....not! #thismorning Holly and Alison I mean." A third said: "What, no Phil? #ThisMorning."
Lois said: "This is like when you got a supply teacher at school and everyone just p***ed around all week #ThisMorning." Carol said: "Oh no! Couldn't it have been Josie? #ThisMorning."
Other fans loved the changes. One user said: "OMFG it is going to be an everything is AMAZING week on #thismorning." Chantal said: "Yay! Holly and Alison #ThisMorning."
It comes after sources revealed to The Mirror that Alison is being lined up to succeed Holly as the host of This Morning. They said: "ITV bosses are clear they want Holly to return to This Morning next year. But while a question mark hangs over her future, there have been conversations about who could step in if she decided to go."
"Top of that list is Alison. She has gone from being seen as a safe pair of hands to a real asset to the channel.
"And while her partnership with Dermot is seen as solid, there have also been conversations about other pairings – such as with Josie Gibson, who she was recently filming with in the French Alps.
"If Holly were to leave, it is unlikely she would be replaced by one person – as when Piers Morgan left Good Morning Britain, there would be a series of combinations trialled."
