This Morning fans have made their feelings known as Josie Gibson returned to the show with a brand new game. Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were, of course, at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Monday (November 7) when they were joined by their co-star at midday.
Josie was on hand to help present the programme's new game, 12 at 12. The new addition to the show, which could see viewers win up to £12,000, was revealed by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary during their hosting duties on Friday (November 4). "Next week on This Morning, we are launching a brand new competition – it’s absolutely brilliant – it’s called 12 at 12," Alison revealed.
Dermot enthused: "Alright, so check this out, every single day one person could have a chance to win up to £12,000 when they play at 12 o’clock!" to which Alison said: "That’s amazing!" But her co-star may be slightly more practical as he joked: "That’ll ruin us!" To enter, all viewers just had to do was work out which This Morning cast member’s face has been hidden. "That’s so easy!” Alison said. Dermot continued: "There’ll be a guaranteed winner every day next week," before Alison interjected: "This is the best thing ever."

And so on Monday, it was time to see the new game in action. Josie presented the competition as she swapped the usual studio backdrop for a black curtain and stage setting with 12 large gold vaults visible behind her. After correctly figruing out it was Rochelle's face that had been hidden, one lucky caller was given the chance to open six of the 12 vaults and take home whatever prizes were behind the doors.
And the caller appeared to be on a winning streak as she walked away with £11,250 which viewers after picking out a string of cash prizes. To prove that there was other prizez behind the vaults, Josie opened up more of the doors to show items such as This Morning-branded goodies.
But it left fans questioning the whereabouts of Spin To Win, the game which has been a constant feature on the ITV show over the last two years and was brought back in September after a brief break while Holly and Phillip were off over the summer.
@liamandrews123 tweeted: "#thismorning that was so boring, bring back spin to win!!" @Johnny_JI81 echoed: "The new game is too slow for me. Bring back #spintowin #ThisMorning." @PollyCracker92 posted: "A lot of effort/staging for a basic boring game there #ThisMorning." @LHopinion wrote: "No more spin to win then #ThisMorning." @PurpleAutumn added: "Did they get fed up of Spin to Win #ThisMorning."
Other viewers weren't happy the new competition cost viewers to play, with each entry costing £1.50 plus standard network rates. @susievirginia shared: "#ThisMorning Thought I would have a go at the new competition but you have to pay to enter! Its not free like spin to win." @hart_rus tweeted: "#ThisMorning really really not happy, after 3 years plus of entering and waiting by my phone to play spin to win it gets cancelled and replaced by a PAID comp." @susie_retro added: "Sorry but I will not be playing the new game #ThisMorning as we now have to pay to enter, bring back Spin to win."
