ITV This Morning fans divided as Luke Evans sings on show days after BBC Strictly appearance

This Morning viewers weren't all on the same page as they reacted to Luke Evans' appearance on the show. The Hollywood actor and singer has been doing the media rounds of late as he promoted his new album.

On Sunday night, Strictly Come Dancing fans saw Luke in the ballroom during the latest results show. The Welsh star was on hand to provide some musical relief before another tense dance-off as he sang a cover of the classic Bridge Over Troubled Water which is taken from his album A Song For You.

He was joined on the floor by pro dancers, and real-life couple, Kai Widdrington and Nadiya Bychkova who romantically danced to his rendition of the Simon & Garfunkel track and fans were quick to gush over the 'beautiful' rendition and entire performance.

And so today, he appeared on This Morning to chat to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield as well as give another performance of the same song, this time without any dancers. As well as speaking about his album, the second he has released with the first being in 2019, he also shared his excitement over another upcoming project.

After being prompted by the hosts, the Clash of the Titans and Beauty and the Beast actor said: "It’s huge! I’m going to host my own one-off Christmas special showtime show where I’m going to be having guests. Beverley Knight, Olly Murs, LeAnn Rimes, Nicole Scherzinger, I’m singing with all of them."

He added: "Chatting to them, singing songs from my Welsh heritage, shooting it in Wales, it’s going to be just a great all-round entertaining show for the family."

Despite having starred in some of the biggest movies and stage shows, when asked by Phillip about whether he's nervous, Luke admitted: "Just a little bit I’m not going to lie! I’m nervous but excited. I’m just going to try and enjoy it, it’s in Wales half of it is going to be my family and the village I come from, there’s going to be a lot of familiar faces."

It was then time for Luke to head off for his performance which delighted Holly and Phillip as they rushed to thank and praise him afterwards.
