ITV's The Chase picked up an award at the BAFTAs on Monday night which left Chaser Paul Sinha in tears.
The professional quizzer who goes by the name The Sinnerman broke his usual steely persona as he picked up a gong with his co-stars.
The stars of the show were out in force for the annual event at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Paul was joined by fellow Chasers Anne Hegerty, Mark Labbett and Jenny Ryan who ditched their usual quizzing attire for a glamourous look.
And the group were celebrating as The Chase picked up the best daytime gong, reports Manchester Evening News. Unfortunately, their moment didn't make the main cut and was only briefly mentioned in the 'other awards' section at the end of the ceremony.

Paul is said to have shed a tear while on the stage with his co-stars, wiping his eyes as one of the producers accepted the accolade. Taking to Twitter after the awards aired on BBC One, Paul tweeted: "It looks like we may have been cut from the main show but just to say – The Chase won a Bafta today."
He then added: "One of the proudest days of my life, and rest assured we’ve had a drink." Paul then shared a fabulous snap of himself and Jenny holding up their awards.
But as Paul and his co-stars celebrated, fans did share their disappointment at not being able to see their win in all its glory. @CraftyNigel tweeted: "What a shame they don’t show the whole show it’s really unfair for those that win and get seconds on tv."
@VickiDiane1 replied: "Absolutely about time ! Well deserved to everybody! @paulsinha you are by far the nicest and most gorgeous and clever of them all & I'm over the moon for you ! Brilliant accolade."
@gms58 clarified: "You were mentioned in the closing moments. Well done to you all, it’s a must programme in our house."
Paul has since taken to social media again to share his own upset at The Chase's winning moment being omitted from the ceremony's broadcast. He tweeted: "The day after, and it stings a little to be excluded from the main BAFTA show. I realise that a certain anti daytime snobbery will always exist, but a cursory glance at viewing figures will show how well many shows are holding up, against more prestigious productions."
