Viewers of ITV's The Chase were left livid after a contestant knocked a "brutal" £8,000 off the team's prize.
Eirlys from Aberdare appeared on the gameshow tonight (February 2) alongside Melanie, Jeff and James.
She was the last to face the chaser after the other contestants won an impressive £20,000.

Eirlys earned £5,000 in the cash builder, and looked to her teammates for advice after she was offered -£8000, £5000 or £60,000 by Chaser Mark Labbett.
Melanie said: "It’s really important that we get you back so we have a full team."
Eirlys turned to host Brad Walsh and accepted the minus offer.

"As much as I don't really want to take away from the team, I want to get back because the odds of winning are greater. So I’ll take the minus eight," she said.
Viewers of the show could not believe their eyes, taking to Twitter to vent their anger about the shock decision.
@AshleyTMN wrote: "Minus 8,000? It would be better to go out than go back to the team with that #BrokenBritain #TheChase."
@EdgeOTI said: "Absolutely fuming at the lady on The Chase who took 8 GRAND away from the prize fund to get back and then didn't answer a single question in the final chase."
"Just caught the last bit of the Chase. -8k taken by one of the contestants, not going down very well on Twitter," a third added.
Eirlys made it back to the team for the final chase.
But unfortunately chaser Mark, also known as The Beast, just beat them with a few seconds to spare.
The Chase airs at 5pm on ITV during weekdays
