Fans of The Chase star Mark Labbett were left stunned as he shared a new snap of himself backstage in pantomime. Mark, who is nicknamed 'The Beast' on the ITV quiz show, floored followers on social media as he posted a picture from behind-the-scenes at the Northwich pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk.
Mark, who is playing the villain Fleshcreep in the show, tweeted a photo of himself holding a Pointless board game based on The Chase's rival BBC show. "This was my secret Santa at the Northwich Panto. I suspect @richardosman," he joked.
But fans were distracted by Mark's weight loss as they commented on how trim he's looking. @gemgem1983 said: "Bloody hell, actually didn’t think that was you and thought it was possibly your son or a relative lol." And @merrymiller123 said: "Almost didn't recognise you, really smashed that weightloss."

@gazpen messaged: "Wow, I didn't recognise you. You're doing amazing at the weight loss." @felicitywade17 gasped: "Less 'The Beast' more 'The Stick Man.' That's incredible!"
@bymysidebritsau asked him: "Is it bad I thought this was a throwback pic of you as a teen!? You're looking way younger, Beastie!!!" @modavida exclaimed: "Wowsers at the weight loss!!! Where have you hidden Beasty Boy?"
@AngelaGuy15 said: "You’re disappearing Mark - remarkable weight loss!! Have a good Christmas." And @Louise53298238 commented: "Where have you gone. You look like a different person."
Last year Mark said he was feeling 'leaner and meaner' after shedding the pounds. The 57-year-old quizzer looked almost unrecognisable as he showcased his weight loss with before and after photos posted side-by-side.
He vowed to become the "skinniest Chaser" after reportedly shedding five stone. Crediting online meal delivery service Muscle Foods he said: "Leaner, meaner lockdown with good folks of muscle foods. At this rate I will be the skinniest chaser."
In another Instagram share the TV star sported another different look, with a beard and wet hair. He told his followers: "Time for the beard to go #cleanshavenbeast."
In January he told fans: "Down to 52 inch chest from 60”. So was 5xl, now 2xl. Still a lot of work to do." Mark started out as a 'Chaser' on the ITV gameshow The Chase, hosted by Bradley Walsh, in 2009.
