ITV The Chase's Paul Sinha supported as he shares moment 'worst fears confirmed'

Paul Sinha has been supported by fans as he shared the moment his worst fears were confirmed.

The Sinnerman is renowned for his role as a Chaser on the popular ITV game show. The 53-year-old has taken to Twitter to reveal it has been four years since he was diagnosed with Parkinson's.

He said: "I walked into the office of a consultant neurologist. He examined me for ten minutes and then confirmed my worst fears. Since then it has been a rollercoaster. Bad medication, good medication, triumph and disaster."

The quizzer uses his platform to raise awareness of what it's like to live with the condition. He added: "Everybody's Parkinson's tale is unique, and I'm grateful that my decline has been slow thus far.

"This has enabled me to fight hard on the twin fronts of comedy and quizzing and I'm happy to say that I've never been busier. Life has handed me a chance to be a spokesperson, and I'm determined to continue in that vein.."

Paul thanked fans for support as he issued an important message. He said: "Parkinson's is s**t, but I'm increasingly aware that millions of people are dealing with s**t. Look out for them, don't be afraid to ask about their welfare, don't allow your friends and colleagues to fade into obscurity and irrelevance."

Fans flooded Paul with supportive messages after the post.

Julie said: "Sending strength Paul"

Sasha added: "You’re an inspiration, Paul."

Adam tweeted: "You're a really lovely person. Thanks for being a positive influence in the world"
