Fans of The Chase were taken aback by Bradley Walsh's claim in tonight's show.
The 62-year-old presenter returned to front Wednesday's edition of the ITV game show. The host welcomed Malcolm, Michaela, Charlotte and Thomas on to the latest episode.
The quizzers tested their wits against Jenny Ryan in a bid to win a cash prize. The team started off in superb form as the first two players progressed to bank £8,000 in the Final Chase.

Charlotte was up in seat three and the 26-year-old continued the impressive showing as she earned £8,000. During the head-to-head, Bradley asked which TV show was voted by Radio Times readers as the best sitcom.
Charlotte opted for Mrs Brown Boys although questioned if she should have gone for Gavin and Stacey. However, Bradley agreed with her decision as he praised the Brendan O'Carroll sitcom.
He said: "Laugh for laugh Mrs Brown Boys is a bigger hit rate." He was less praising of the James Corden and Ruth Jones sitcom. He said: "Gavin and Stacey, it's not a laugh out loud."
However, The Vixen disagreed with Bradley as she said: "Oh it is." The host wasn't convinced as he shook his head and said: "Meh."
Mrs Brown Boys was indeed the correct answer and viewers following the show on Twitter were in disbelief after the revelation.
@AnilPanesar said: "Bradley Walsh should be embarrassed for those views on Gavin and Stacey"
Jonty posted: "Mrs Browns Boys is genuinely unwatchable."
Rob commented: "Just discovered that Mrs Brown’s Boys was voted best sitcom of the 21st century and now I feel a bit sick"
Nicola tweeted: "Mrs Brown's Boys the best sitcom this century? Wow"
Charlotte progressed to the final Chase before the Vixen eliminated the final contestant. The team built up 18 steps but left empty handed as they were caught with 29 seconds remaining.
