A heartbreaking death will rock the cobbles in Coronation Street next week.
A much-loved character will be killed off in the ITV soap with another character being blamed for their demise. Evelyn Plummer will be left distraught next week, when her beloved dog Cerberus suddenly falls ill and is rushed to the vets.
It doesn't take long before she finds out the cause of Cerberus' ill health and she rushes off to confront Roy Cropper, planting the blame on him. She is told it could be food poisoning and that tests need to be done as Roy reveals he dropped an eccles cake in the café earlier on in the week and he fears Cerberus may have eaten it.
