Heartfelt tributes have poured in for ITV News reporter Emily Morgan, who wanted to be remembered as a wife and mother before she died. She passed away aged 45, surrounded by family.
The mum's death has been announced by ITN in a statement on Twitter. The broadcaster confirmed her cause of death as lung cancer, which it's understood Emily had suffered with for a short time, reports Birmingham Live.
Prior to her death, Emily told colleagues at the channel that she wanted to be remembered, not as a journalist, but as a mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. She had previously said: "They are the things that matter."
