Ruth Langsford wasted no time in outing Coleen Nolan's off-air remarks as they both appeared on Loose Women. The pair were back on the ITV lunchtime show's panel on Tuesday (February 14) alongside Denise Welch and Janet Street-Porter.
Due to the date, the latest episode of the chat show was a Valentine's Day special as they interviewed actress Amanda Abbington and retired escapologist and daredevil Jonathan Goodwin, who previously appeared on Britain's Got Talent, about their whirlwind romance after they got engaged 30 minutes after meeting.
But back to Ruth and Coleen, viewers may have been wondering what was going on as Ruth returned to the show from an ad break giggling. The show's anchor, 62, was quick to explain as she said: "Sorry, do you know what she just said to me?" referring to her co-star.

"Glad you could make it in from EasyJet today," Ruth said, clearly referring to her orange outfit, as the live studio audience reaction, Ruth added: "Don't encourage her. I will let it go," in a tongue-in-cheek fashion.
Coleen was in hysterics and quickly backtracked as she said: "You look lovely." But it comes after the 57-year-old singer and TV star came under fire from viewers for her comments to an audience member as she appeared live on the show on Monday.
While she was opening the show, Kaye Adams said: "Coleen you’re looking absolutely ravishing in that blouse," to which Coleen replied: "Oh there’s going to be a punchline." Former Strictly 2022 star Kaye then joked: "Well yes, because you’re not wearing it quite as well as Keira out there."
"Stand up," Kaye ordered as a woman in the audience showed off her outfit. But Coleen appeared to roll her eyes, before she joked: "No expense spared on this show, eh?" But those tuning in to the show were left unimpressed by the comments.
@Bradders_x tweeted: "Coleen Nolan saying ‘no expense spared on this show’ in reference to a member of the audience wearing the same blouse as her… is it just me that finds that comment insulting? #LooseWomen." @cookiejoe9 echoed: "Wow, Colleen insulting the poor woman in the audience by implying she's wearing a cheap top!! #LooseWomen."
