Stars Chris Kamara and Ben Shephard have been announced as special guests for the opening of Bristol's Ninja Warrior UK Adventure Park. The football pundit and journalist both host the ITV show of the same name that inspired a series of adventure parks across the UK.
Bristol was confirmed as the newest addition in its portfolio spanning 17 cities opening at Cribbs Causeway on Tuesday, December 20 from 4pm. The presenters will be joined by a number of professional ’Ninjas’ who have previously competed on the show including first-time women’s champion Beth Lodge, who took home the title during the grand finale of Ninja Warrior UK in October this year.
Chris Kamara, 64, said: “I really look forward to the opening of a new Ninja Warrior UK Adventure Park, and Bristol will be no exception. The reaction we get from guests attending is just unbelievable!

"It’s such a great family show and everyone now has the opportunity to come down and have a go for themselves. And, I still get to do the best bit of the job which is to watch on - it’s equally as entertaining, trust me!”
The new venue will feature a mix of adrenalin-fuelled TV show-style courses and inflatable runs inspired by the programme and promises to combine fun and fitness. The 43,000 sq. ft indoor facility will include obstacles to climb, balance, jump and swing across, as well the famous Warped Wall.
Ben Shephard, 47, added: “I am really excited to attend the opening of a new Ninja Warrior UK Adventure Park in Bristol, I might even be brave enough to try out the odd obstacle for myself! The show is always great fun to be a part of even as a viewer, and it is great that families in Bristol can now get stuck in themselves with the added bonus that it is opening just in time for the Christmas holidays. I can’t wait to see all of the aspiring Ninjas in action! Who knows we might get to witness a future Ninja Warrior UK competitor in the making.”
The adventure park is operated by Leisure TV Rights Ltd and CEO Lisa Buckley said they are "proud to be bringing a wholesome slice of family entertainment to Bristol". Ninja Warrior UK Adventure Park Bristol will also generate a host of new jobs for the region,
There are limited tickets for the launch event from 4pm onwards on Tuesday, December 20, with the special guests are available to book online, subject to availability and tickets for other dates are also on sale. Admission starts from £13.50 per person and £4 for Mini Ninjas (children aged 3 and under).
