Good Morning Britain got off to a bit of a different start today as Susanna Reid appeared on her own to host the show. The presenter, 51, is usually joined by the likes of Richard Madeley or Adil Ray, who have all stepped in to the main host role following Piers Morgan's shock exit over a year ago.
However, Wednesday's show (March 30), Susanna was flying solo as she kicked off the mid-week edition of the ITV news programme by discussing a range of topics including Prince Andrew helping the Queen with her entrance at the Duke of Edinburgh's memorial on Tuesday. She also spoke about the 20 fines issued for the 'partygate' scandal that rocked the government.
Priro to the show, she shared a selfie from the studio and commented: "Good Morning Britain! Join me & the team @gmb including Andrew, Kevin, Dr H. John Sweeney in Kyiv and Hugo Vickers who was at the Duke of Edinburgh’s Memorial yesterday."
