ITV Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid addresses 'clown colours' look

Susanna Reid was praised by her co-hosts for her "clown-colours" outfit on today's edition of Good Morning Britain.

The 51-year-old broadcaster fronted Thursday's edition of the ITV news programme alongside Ben Shephard. The two were joined by Vick Hope to discuss showbiz news after Bruce Willis confirmed he had retired from acting.

The star confirmed he was stepping away from his on-screen career as he has been diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that has affected his cognitive abilities. The actor was lauded by the hosts for his extraordinary career in Hollywood.

Vick was gobsmacked when Ben revealed his link to Bruce Willis as they had both appeared in episodes of Friends. The 67-year-old famously played Paul Stevens on the hit US sitcom, while the Tipping Host appeared in a small uncredited role in 2002.

Susanna joked Vick was "the only person in the world who doesn't know [Ben] was in Friends". Ben ended the segment by complimenting the collar on Vick's outfit.

She responded: "I'm a cross between a Victorian gentleman and a clown and I'm here for it."

Susanna donned a flamboyant blouse on today's programme and said the outfit was similar to her attire.

She added: "I've got a bit of that going on. A bit of clown colours."

The look came in for praise from Ben as he said: "You can't beat a bit of bright colour."

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and ITV Hub
