ITV Good Morning Britain fans 'switch off' over presenter shake up

Good Morning Britain fans "switched off" just minutes into the show on Tuesday.

The presenting panel has had a bit of a shake up lately with a good mix of faces presenting the show. But today it was Charlotte Hawkins and Adil Ray who took the helm - and fans didn't like the changes.

Twitter was flooded with complaints of people changing channel, with others begging for the likes of Martin Lewis and Rob Rinder to present every day. Despite Adil Ray being on the ITV breakfast show since 2018, when he stepped in to replace Piers Morgan as a relief host, fans were not impressed with seeing him this week.

One user said: "Turn on #GMB, see Adil Ray, switches over to BBC". Another user said: "#gmb The hosts on this show get worse get rid of Richard and Adil and stick to Martin, Ben and Rob Rinder".

Lorraine said: "I'd really like to know the stats on just how many viewers #GMB have lost lately. I know most of my work colleagues don't watch any more - all because of @adilray and the hideous wokeness coming out this programme."

Another user said: "He's on again (@adilray). On the lead up to Christmas too. What a way to ruin it. @GMB WHAT are you doing ? Back to Countdown."

Adil and Charlotte are currently stepping in to fill the shoes of regular presenters Susanna Reid, Ben Shepherd and Kate Garraway. This happens quite often during holidays throughout the year as the main hosts take a break.
