Emmerdale viewers were concerned after Marlon Dingle's announcement at the end of tonight's episode.
Friday's edition of the long-running soap continued to explore the romance between Marlon and Rhona Ghoskirk. April decided she was going to throw a birthday party for her dad this week.
Rhona decided she was finally going to propose at the party after her previous attempts to pop the question have been unsuccessful.

Marlon also resolved that he was going to propose to Rhona on Monday's episode. He revealed the wedding joy to Paddy Kirk at the end of the episode who joked he was going to propose to Kim Tate.
The character, played by Mark Charnock, was overjoyed as he revealed the happy news.
He said: "Tomorrow Paddy it's going to be perfect. Just perfect."
Spoilers released by Emmerdale reveal Marlon will soon suffer a stroke - and viewers following the show were concerned the positive statement was an ominous sign of things to come.
