Emmerdale viewers were baffled by Gabby Thomas' tearful message on tonight's show.
Thursday's episode of the long-running soap continued to explore the fallout of the devastating storm which has ripped through the village. The epic stunt has been staged to mark the show's 50th anniversary.
Fan favourites Vinny and Liv Dingle fell victim to the storm on Tuesday's show as they were crushed against a wall by a falling caravan. Vinny was able to pick himself up from the wreckage, but Liv remained heavily wounded and she died from her injuries.

The characters were grieving Liv's death at the start of the episode as the storm finally calmed. Gabby visited the site of Liv's death along with Jacob Gallagher on tonight's show.
The character, played by Rosie Bentham, issued an emotional tribute as she said she will be forever be scarred by the loss of her "best friend". However, viewers following the show on Twitter were confused by the message as they claimed the characters were no longer close in the show.
Dave said: "Gabby and Liv hardly ever spoke so where did she get the idea that they were best mates pls"
Page added: "Didn’t know Gabby was her best mate from when"
Gemma commented: "Gabby and Liv haven't even shared a scene together for ages so what does she mean best friends lol"
Kelly tweeted : "Diane and Faith were besties and now Gabby and Liv… who knew ay."
Other viewers took to Twitter and said they were moved by Gabby's response.
Blake said: "Gabby’s reaction to Liv though… they really were best mates"
Katie posted: "I can’t cope seeing Gabby like that"
Kellie commented :"My heart breaks for Gabby, learning about Liv"
