ITV Dancing On Ice fans issue same demand minutes into the show

Viewers of Dancing On Ice all made the same call just minutes into Sunday's episode.

The "greatest show on ice" was back for its fourth instalment of the 2020 series - though things looked a little different from previous weeks.

Phillip Schofield was unable to present the show, as he continues to isolate at home after testing positive for coronavirus.

The 59-year-old has also missed This Morning, with Alison Hammond and Vernon Kay filling in while he self-isolates.

Stepping in to join co-host Holly Willoughby tonight was In For A Penny's Stephen Mulhern.

With his CV boasting shows such as Saturday Night Takeaway, he is used to being surrounded by live audiences whilst on screen.

And it seems his experience came in handy.

Fans of the show warmed to him immediately - with many wanting him to be given a permanent role.

Taking to Twitter, Ryan Glendenning said: "Stephen is incredible, I love him [laughing emoji]"

BroganBowx said: "Stephen suits the role so much!"

Laura Garside said: "Stephen Mulhern just makes any TV show instantly more entertaining"

Calli Kitson said: "If you're wondering if I'm watching #DancingonIce solely for Stephen Mulhern the answer is yes"

xamy_elizabeth said: "I do love Phil, but can we have more of Stephen on TV please!"

Dancing On Ice continues Sundays on ITV and the ITV Hub
