Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien shared a rare snap of her son after sharing why they rarely featured on her social media. The actress, who is famed for playing Sarah Barlow in the ITV soap, took to Instagram over the weekend with a picture of her son Beau.
The eight-year-old couldn't hide his grin for the camera despite being covered in mud after spending some time on the rugby field. Beau, who Tina shares with husband Adam Crofts, was covered from top to toe, but mainly on his face with his floppy blonde hair just about covering some of the mud-based damage, as he sported his rugby gear.
"Rugby went well," Tina wrote alongside the image on her Instagram Story with a crying laughing emoji. It comes after the soap star proudly shared a rare post about fellow actress daughter Scarlett as she revealed that the 14-year-old had undergone a hair transformation.

The 39-year-old reshared a post that showed Waterloo Road star Scarlett, whom Tina shares with former partner and ex-co-star Ryan Thomas, as she headed to the salon for her first colour treatment. She shared video clips of Scarlett before her makeover and her hair in foils as she linked to stylist Kia Styles' page.
And in the caption of the clips on her Instagram Stories, Tina shared her pride for her daughter while also sharing why fans may not see her two children regularly appearing on her social media page. "My little lady getting all grown up," she wrote before adding: "I don't post often about my S&B. I'll only post what they are happy to share and is comfortable for them."
It comes after Tina was flooded with compliments on the platform herself as she stunned her fans and followers with her age. Sarah's long stint in Weatherfield has meant that viewers have also seen Tina grow up on-screen, despite a seven-year break from Corrie from 2008 to 2015, and seen her personal life change from welcoming her first child, Scarlett, to getting married to husband Adam Crofts and welcoming her second child.
And it won't be long until fans will see Tina celebrate another milestone- turning 40! The star, from Rusholme, shared some new headshots of herself which showed off her natural and ageless beauty. "I'm turning 40 this year," she started the caption of her post. "Decided its time to update my seriously outdated headshots for Spotlight. A massive thank you to @neilson_photo_actors I’m absolutely over the moon with them.
"I was quite nervous going to the shoot, it’s been quite a time since I’ve done anything like this. Colin is such a lovely, warm, chatty guy. He put me at ease the second I met him, genuinely feel like I’ve known him for years!!"
Tina then clarified: "This isn’t an advert I’m just super pleased. Thank you so much Colin you really understand what an actor is looking for in their headshot and I just think your lighting is heaven."
And it wasn't long before the mum-of-two was being flooded with compliments from her co-stars, friends and fans with many in disbelief over her age. Former Corrie star Brooke Vincent said: "Still look 21," while Catherine Tyldesley wrote: "Babe!!! 40?!?! You still look 13!!! [crying laughing emojis] gorgeous xxxxx."
