Their sex life has become somewhat of a bone of contention among Coronation Street fans but Sally and Tim Metcalfe were at it again during the latest trip to the cobbles - however, it all went very wrong.
The couple have been having problems with their usual steamy antics in the bedroom following Tim's heart surgery. The Street Cars taxi driver underwent a life-saving operation in January after suffering a heart attack. He and his wife became insufferable as they had to abstain from any additional activities until Tim was given the all-clear by a doctor.
But since then, the couple have been struggling to rekindle the physical side of their relationship with Tim refusing to visit a doctor. Earlier this week in the ITV soap, Sally was left delighted when Tim won an overnight stay at one of Debbie Webster's plush hotels in a raffle for Steve McDonald's late son Oliver.
