There was intense Coronation Street drama as Jon Spear finally found out that his 'soulmate' Emma Brooker was involved in the death of his grandad Ted. Jon was shell-shocked when he went to confront Emma after she had suddenly brutally dumped him and the horrifying truth came spilling out.
When Jon unexpectedly arrived and demanded answers, Emma's flatmate Faye Windass blurted out that they were responsible for his Ted's death. The girls have been weaving a twisted web of lies ever since they accidentally ran frail Ted down on New Year's Day Corrie while Emma was supervising Faye on a driving lesson.
