Coronation Street viewers were quick to realise where they have seen Daisy Midgley's mum before as she surprised her daughter in Weatherfield. Monday's trip to the cobbles saw the barmaid come face-to-face with her mother, Christina, after she arrived at the Rovers unannounced.
Not much is known about Daisy's background, other than that Rovers Return landlady Jenny Connor was once her stepmother before her dad's death. But Christina looks set to bring Daisy's past to the surface as their reunion got off to a frosty start.
Prior to Christina's arrival, Jenny presented Daisy another bouquet delivery with her name on it and she was left further unnerved when her phone rang with an unknown number. But later Daisy thought she had solved the mystery when Justin, who she had previously met in the doctor's waiting room before Christmas, was revealed to be behind the multiple flower deliveries.
