In 2020 Helen said she'd stopped altering her photos to set a good example to her eldest daughter Matilda, who is now six.

The soap star, who plays Rosie Webster in Corrie, ditched the Instagram filters to show Matilda that 'beauty is skin deep.'

She explained at the time: "I stopped giving my pictures an edit a few weeks ago.

"I want to be a good example to Matilda and to teach her to love her natural beauty and be comfortable and confident in her own skin, beauty is skin deep and to have a beautiful heart."

Helen, who is engaged to Preston North End footballer Scott Sinclair, was praised for her decision.

"Such a powerful message to give to young girls. Well done...not that you need filters you’re gorgeous," said one follower.
