Coronation Street's Tina O'Brien gobsmacked fans as she shared her real age.
The soap star is renowned for her role as Sarah Platt on the Cobbles. The character has been at the centre of the drama in Weatherfield after she has attracted the attention of the villainous Damon Hay.
Sarah is engaged to Adam Barlow but the show has teased an explosive twist may be on the horizon as the character debated inviting him to her hotel room. Tina has been a key member of the show since she joined the cast in 1999.

She has taken to Instagram and revealed she is set to update her headshots on a casting platform as she prepares to reach a milestone age. She said: "I'm turning 40 this year decided its time to update my seriously outdated headshots for Spotlight"
Tina's soap stars lauded the new snaps as Jane Danson, who plays Leanne Tilsley, said: "Absolutely gorgeous T. Maybe its time I did mine! I'm 45 this year and mine are a 23 year old me in black and white." Georgia Taylor, who plays Toyah Habeeb, commented: "Gorgeous."
Some of Tina's Cobbles co-stars also took to the comments and could not believe the soap star was approaching 40. Brooke Vincent, who played Sophie Webster, said: "Still look 21."
Catherine Tyldesley, who played Eva Price, added: "Babe!!! 40?!?! You still look 13!!! gorgeous x." Fans agreed with the soap stars as they heaped praise on Tina.
Tracy said: "Omg 40 you look 25! Seriously." Chloe posted: "I would never have guessed you would be 40. You still look really young."
Emma added: "Currently watching old eps of Corrie from approximately 20 years ago and you’ve barely aged"
