Samia Longchambon was all smiles as she soaked up the sun on a family Easter getaway. The Coronation Street star took to Instagram with some beach snaps after returning home from Portugal. Samia, who is best known for playing Maria Windass in the ITV soap, swapped Manchester for the Algarve after emotional scenes were aired on-screen.
The actress was snapped as she was feeling the sand between her feet with the clear sea glistening in the background and the clear blue skies in the distance.

Samia smiled away from the camera in a pair of thick black sunglasses as she posed in a striped blue shirt over her swimsuit, appearing ready to play a game with a bat in hand. "I’ll miss this view.." she captioned the two snaps to her thousands of followers before adding: "Until next time portugal! #obrigada #familyholiday #happyeaster."
But the 39-year-old, from Eccles, was soon being mistake for her daughter, 12-year-old Freya Smith who she shares with ex-husband Matt Smith. Manchester actress Faye Mckeever, who has starred in Sky's Trollied and ITV's Little Boy Blue, wrote underneath the post: "Do u ever age? I thought this was Freya. Beauts!"
Author Donna Ashworth was also in agreement, replying: "I thought this too," as Samia simply replied with a crying laughing face emoji, a heart, and kissy-face emoji. Angela Lonsdale, who played Emma Taylor in Corrie and has remained good friends with Samia, also added: "I thought this was Freya too! Forever young little sis! I’ve missed you! Walkies soon."
And fans were just as quick to send some compliments Samia's way.

"Gorgeous Sam," @ s tudio12sue shared. The compliments then kept coming as Samia shared two more holiday snaps to her Instagram page. "2 catalogue poses and selfie for 3," she captioned the post as she posed for the camera in a white top and shorts ensembles with straw hat.
