Coronation Street star Harriet Bibby showed her relationship off-screen with her on-screen boyfriend is much better than it currently is in Weatherfield. The actress, who plays Summer Spellman, took to Instagram to share some snaps from the ITV soap's Christmas bash.
Harriet looked closer than ever with pal James Craven, who joined Corrie as Aaron Sandford earlier this year, as they got into the festive spirit at the do in Manchester city centre. Prior to heading out for the evening, Harriet posted a selfie to Instagram jokingly sharing why she'd be late.
The soap star looked stunning in a pink fluffy bandeau top with her make-up perfectly matched to her outfit. She donned a pink lip with a brush of blusher across her cheeks before adding an intricate hot pink liner to her eyes. "My eyeliner is the reason I'm late..." she confessed alongside the snpa on her Instagram Story.
But she wasn't too late to miss out on the fun, if her Instagram snaps from inside the party are anything to go by. In one of the snaps, Harriet could be seen posing alongside soap best pal Elle Mulvaney, who plays Amy Barlow. Donning matching black culotte trousers, the pair rasied their drinks to the camera as they posed in front of the dancefloor.
There was also plenty of photobooth-style action with the cast donning novelty hats and glasses, including Harriet alongside Channique Sterling-Brown (Dee-Dee Bailey) and Martin Hancock (Spider Nugent).
"Christmas partyyyyy time!" Harriet captioned the post which also featured the snpas of her posing with James, who looked dapper in a navy blue shirt and brown chinos. While one showed her looking and smiling at her co-star the other saw Harriet being pulled into a big hug for the sweet snap.
The actor was quick to leave to white hearts on the post while Elle added a string of red heart emojis. Jane Hazlegrove, who plays Bernie Winter in Corrie, was also among the commentors, writing: "Hope you had a marvellous time , you both look gorgeous! Question who is that downing a pint behind you??"
But fans were also sharing their complementary messages. @paigntonofficialdancer2022 said: "Just adorable!!! You guys are literally everything..." @stasiasmith wrote: "You look so gorgeous." @nancyhovhanesian commented: "Wonderful picture of you and @james.t.craven." @justinraff2021 added: "You look stunning Harriet."
Harriet's night on the town comes after she shared a 'last day' snap with her followers. She could be seen attempting to keep warm on the set of the Salford-based soap alongside Corrie co-stars Daniel Brocklebank and Peter Ash, who plays Billy Mayhew and Paul Foreman. Alongside the snap she typed: "Baltic for the last day on set this year."
And since partying the night away, Harriet has ditched Manchester all together. The actress again took to Instagram on Saturday (December 17) where she shared a picture of her passport which she was holding up to the plane window. "Cya!" she typed alongside the image with a waving emoji.
