Coronation Street's Ellie Leach braced herself as she prepared for a "crazy" night out in Liverpool.
The 22-year-old soap star is renowned for her role as Faye Windass in the long-running ITV show. Ellie dazzled at Ladies Day as she donned a gorgeous Forever Unique dress from the new Tara Maynard collection for the occasion.
She told the ECHO how she also attended the event last year and loves the glamour of the Grand National meeting. She said: "The fashion element is my favourite part of the races.

"I love seeing what people are wearing and how they accessorise with their fascinators. I'm just obsessed looking at people and saying 'I love her outfit'. People will think 'what's that girl looking us up and down for' but I'm really not doing that, I just think you look really nice."
The dress code has been relaxed this year but Ellie said why this has not made a notable difference to today's event. She said: "People know that you go all out at the races and they like doing that. It's not very often that you get to dress up and put on a nice outfit and feel nice about yourself.
"The dress code being changed doesn't really make a difference because I still say, 'make sure you all out and wear your posh frock and your nice clothes."
She also revealed she hasn't had too much luck in the betting department and jokingly scolded her family member for his advice. She said: "My uncle puts on bets all the time and he told me his tips. I put them on and lost. How? So I'm not putting anymore on because I don't want to lose anymore money."
Ellie enjoyed the afternoon from the Silver Birch Garden Party and revealed her day out in the city isn't ending after Ladies Day as she looked forward to a night out in Liverpool. She laughed: "I'm meant to be going to Bongo's Bingo after here. Crazy day, if I make it that is. Hopefully I'm not too drunk."
