Coronation Street fans couldn't help but be distracted as Imran Habeeb's mum made a return to the cobbles. It has been a week since the solicitor, played by Charlie De Melo, tragically died following a car crash alongside wife, Toyah, in the ITV soap.
The couple, who recently tied the knot, were heading back to Weatherfield from the police station after Imran convinced Toyah not to tell the police about Abi Webster's plans to run away with baby Alfie as their custody battle for the tot intensified.
It was revealed last week that Imran had started to tell Toyah the truth about his lies and deceit in order to get custody of his son, who was born in a surprise twist earlier this year after he and Abi had a one night stand following her son Seb's murder trial last year.

And in rage, Toyah crashed the car into a building covered in scaffolding after telling her new husband: "I hate you with all my heart." While Imran became the hero, rescuing Toyah from the wreckage of their car and bringing her to safety, he suffered a cardiac arrest and died at the scene next to his friend, PC Craig Tinker.
Then in last night's Corrie (Monday, June 6) Toyah, played by Georgia Taylor, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following the horror smash that killed Imran. She was then taken off to the police station for questioning and showed the CCTV footage of the incident. She then broke down in tears Imran's solicitor colleague Adam Barlow ordered that she should have a break.
Prior to that, Imran's mum made a return to the street. Saira, played by Kim Vithana, first appeared in the ITV soap in 2016 to celebrate her daughter Rana's engagement to Zeedan Nazir. She later returned in 2018 where stunned to find out that Rana had been having an affair with Kate Connor.
Then, the last time she was seen was in 2019 when Rana was killed in the Underworld roof collapse just as she was preparing to marry Kate. And sadly, the death of her second child is what has brought her back to Weatherfield once more.
As she arrived at the flat to visit Toyah, she broke down in tears as she told her she was 'so sorry'. And during the visit, she discovered she has a grandson. But despite the heartbreak, Corrie fans were distracted.
