Fans have questioned if Roy Cropper will be making an exit from Coronation Street.
The raincoat wearing cafe owner, played by David Neilson, has been on our screens since 1995. But now, after tonight's dramatic episode, fans feared that the character may be dead or badly injured awaiting his demise.
Roy arranged to meet Nina, Brian and Asha at the bat group meeting in the woods after dropping Evelyn at a friend’s house. But, unbeknownst to Roy, Brian and Nina received a message saying the meeting has been cancelled.

They realised they have no way of getting in touch with Roy as he didn't have a phone, and decided to head into the woods to look for him. They spotted his little car, complete with P plates, at the entrance of the woods.
Nina, Asha and Brian decided to head off in the direction of the river to carry on searching for their friend and Nina was horrified to find Roy's thermos flask floating in the water - but no Roy.
The last time he was seen by viewers was when he was prodding at his flask with a stick after tumbling down the steep incline towards the water. Fans were horrified and feared for the character's future.
On Twitter, Arlene said: "Oh no Roy is going to get hurt #Corrie." Another user said: "Roy is in danger of falling in the water #Corrie".
Ross said: "Is Roy going out of #Corrie?" Another user added: "If you go down to the woods today, make sure you take your smartphone and don't be a Luddite or you'll end up freezing and starving and drowning to death like Roy....... #Corrie"
As the darkness of night-time dawned on the woods, the friends continued to look for Roy with them screaming his name to no avail. But in an unseen twist, it was then that another character took a tumble and ended up in the river - Nina.
Brian ran into the water and dragged Nina's lifeless body out as Asha tearfully called an ambulance to help. Brian issued CPR and begged for Nina to be ok before she started coughing and spluttering letting viewers know that she was still alive, just about.
