ITV Coronation Street fans ask 'what on Earth goes on' as they spot Chesney and Gemma blunder

Coronation Street fans were more eagle-eyed than ever as they spotted a blunder in the latest scenes involving Chesney Brown and Gemma Winter. As viewers of the ITV soap know, the cash-strapped pair are currently doing everything they can to save up enough money for their own wedding.

During Wednesday night's trip to the cobbles, Gemma and Ches headed to a wedding fair, which was also being attending by bride-to-be Daisy Midgley. The couple accepted the free booze before having a snoop around at what they could have for their own big day.

Later, Gemma shared her hope for their special day with Chesney quick to shut down some of the suggestions as they couldn't afford it. He also suggested they ask Jenny Connor to help with their nuptials by hosting at the Rovers.

But away from all the wedding chat, it was another scene that seemingly left Corrie viewers distracted. Chesney was seen in the back garden while Gemma was telling him about how her brother Paul was willing to help them pay for their wedding.

As Gemma held a huge laundry basket filled with clothes, dad-of-five Chesney was actively pegging them up. But fans were quick to notice that the clothes didn't exactly need to be hung out in the first place.

Meanwhile, @runninoncaffine noted: "Anyone else notice chesney hanging up brand new kids clothes on the washing line."

@ToriaTowers asked: "Chesney hanging out mini haz-mat suits. What on Earth goes on with those quads? #Corrie." @PaulWirral commented: "Did I really see Chesney hanging waterproof all-in-ones on the washing line??? #Corrie," to which @DaveHowarth4 replied: "And they were brand new straight out of the bag."
