Fans of Coronation Street spoke of their worry after the soap returned to people's screens. The ITV drama last night (April 4) showed the latest drama after Imran Habeeb and Abi Franklin's baby discovery.
Toyah Battersby was left heartbroken during scenes aired last week as she was informed by Kevin Webster that her fiance was the father of Abi's surprise baby, Alfie, reports Manchester Evening News. And during the latest trip to the cobbles, Corrie viewers watched as Toyah was crushed further when she was told she wouldn't be able to adopt foster daughter Elsie on her own due to her new personal circumstances, meaning the little girl will soon be taken out of her care to be placed with her 'forever family'.
But there was also another big change on the cobbles as Fiz Stape paid an emotional goodbye to the street, 21 years after being take in by soap stalwart Roy Cropper and his late wife Hayley. As Fiz packed up her belongings, ex-fiance Tyrone Dobbs lingered around and took a glimpse inside some of the boxes looking for anything that may belong to him.
