Michael Carrick said he accepted Lisandro Martinez’s apology for his explosive criticisms of Manchester United and director of football Jason Wilcox this week and believes his team can be galvanised by the row.
The United manager said he will carry on picking the Argentinian defender and feels that, far from being distracted, his team could benefit from it.
