'It's a great feeling to be alongside Yuvraj Singh': Ruturaj Gaikwad on hitting seven sixes

Ruturaj Gaikwad Yuvraj Singh Stuart Broad Maharashtra World Cup England New Delhi

NEW DELHI: Maharashtra batter Ruturaj Gaikwad, who scripted history by hitting seven sixes in an over, recalled the moment a day after as he remembered Yuvraj Singh, at that particular juncture, who hit six sixes in an over against England's Stuart Broad in the 2007 T20 World Cup.

The feat also equalled the List-A world record of 43 runs in an over, during the Vijay Hazare Trophy quarter-final between Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh at the Narendra Modi Stadium B Ground in Ahmedabad on Monday.
