LUDHIANA: In major action against tax evasion in Kashmir Valley, Investigation wing of the Income Tax Department on Wednesday conducted raid on businesses belonging to a prominent family of Srinagar.
Ever since Wednesday morning several teams of the department along with paramilitary forces are conducting raids on more than fifteen business and residential premises belonging to the family. As per information available from sources some of the major businesses owned by the family include a five star luxury resort cum spa in Gulmarg, Cement Factory in Srinagar, a milk plant in Pampore which is one of the biggest private plant in J&K.
