'It gives me inspiration' - Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag lifts lid on Sir Alex Ferguson conversations

Alex Ferguson Ten Hag Erik ten Hag Manchester United

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed he is in regular contact with Sir Alex Ferguson who provides him with advice.

The legendary Scot enjoyed unparalleled success with United between 1986 and 2013. Following his retirement, the Reds struggled to adapt to a post-Ferguson era and have not won the Premier League since.

Erik ten Hag's arrival at the start of the season came after United notched their worst points tally in Premier League history. However, the Dutchman has managed to turn the ship around leading the club to Carabao Cup glory, next season's Champions League and the FA Cup final.
