Issac Hayden's message to Newcastle United fans after missing 25-man Premier League squad

Newcastle United midfielder Issac Hayden says he is 'desparately disappointed' to have missed out on the Magpies' 25-man Premier League squad.

But he has vowed to support his United team-mates from the sidelines as Eddie Howe's squad battle against relegation.

The club announced their squad of 25 players for the remainder of the Premier League season on Thursday evening following the end of the January transfer window, with Hayden, left-back Jamal Lewis and central defender Ciaran Clark missing out.
