The United Nations Security Council has passed a long-delayed resolution regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict, urging immediate humanitarian pauses and the establishment of safe corridors throughout Gaza. Notably, the resolution obtained approval with both the United States and Russia abstaining from voting.

In other news related to the ongoing conflict, it has been confirmed that God Huggy, an Israeli-American hostage held in Gaza, has tragically lost his life. Huggy, who was abducted from kibbutz Niru, sustained injuries during his abduction. Regrettably, his wife remains in captivity. Huggy was 73 years old.
