A tragic incident unfolded in the town of Baaloul in the Beqaa valley of eastern Lebanon, as confirmed by the country's National News Agency (NNA). The Lebanese health ministry reported the loss of four lives due to an Israeli airstrike on Baaloul in the Western Beqaa region.
Among the casualties was the mayor of the nearby town of Sohmor, Haidar Shahla, as stated by the NNA. The airstrike targeted a residential apartment, resulting in a devastating toll on the community.
