In a recent incident in Damascus, Syria, a multi-story building in the upscale Mezzeh district was struck by an Israeli missile, resulting in several casualties. The building, reportedly serving as a residence for Iranian military advisors, was targeted in what appears to be a significant airstrike.
The explosion, which caused a massive column of smoke, led to the collapse of a three-story building, as witnessed on state media and social media platforms. Syrian state media has attributed the airstrike to Israel, while the Israeli military is yet to comment on the incident. The Tasnim news agency, a semi-official Iranian news agency, reported that four advisors from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran were among the casualties, alongside several members of the Syrian military.
