Daniel Hagari of the IDF emphasized that Sinwar's place is alongside Mohammed Deif and the other individuals linked to the October 7th incident.
While Israel claims to have eliminated Deif, the head of Hamas' military wing and a key figure in the October 7th attack, Hamas has not confirmed his death. Hagari labeled Sinwar as a terrorist, holding him accountable for what he described as the most brutal terrorist attack in history.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has acknowledged Sinwar's influence in potentially facilitating a cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hamas. Blinken emphasized Sinwar's pivotal role in deciding the fate of the conflict and the well-being of civilians caught in the crossfire.
