Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that one of the pilots of an Israel-bound flight had tried to kill the other and crash the plane, but that passengers and crew had managed to overpower him and safely land the plane in Saudi Arabia. All the passengers have since arrived in Israel, and Saudi authorities have arrested and are interrogating the alleged assailant.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday that one of the pilots of a Flydubai plane bound for Tel Aviv had planned to crash it with intent to kill its mostly Israeli passengers, who he said had stopped a "major disaster".
