Israel Adesanya had $300 in his bank account before signing first UFC deal

Israel Adesanya has claimed that he was down to his last $300 in his bank account before he signed his first deal with the UFC in 2017.

'Style Bender' is one of the promotion's leading stars having reigned as middleweight champion since 2019 when defeated Kelvin Gastelum to claim the title.

He recently signed a lucrative new deal with the UFC which will make him the second-highest paid fighter in the promotion's history behind good friend Conor McGregor.
