KOLKATA: Odisha FC’s League Shield aspirations might have taken a hit following the goalless draw at Bengaluru FC last Saturday, but with three games still left in the 2023-24 Indian Super League (ISL) season there’s a lot to play for.
Currently third on the standings with 36 points from 19 games and behind leaders Mumbai City FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giants, Odisha will be eager to finish the league stage as high as possible, but they must win all their remaining games to finish in the top two. And they got a timely boost to their ambition as MBSG dropped points in their last-gasp loss to Chennaiyin FC on Sunday.
