Tottenham will be hoping to make a winning return to Premier League action following a mixed start to their Champions League campaign. Antonio Conte's side suffered their first defeat of the season on Tuesday night, losing to two late Sporting goals to suffer a 2-0 defeat in Lisbon.
They will return to Premier league action with a sense of optimism, however, as they currently sit third in the table having not lost a single match this season. They also face a Leicester side who have struggled so far under the management of Brendan Rodgers this season and are currently bottom of the table and winless.
Last season, Spurs did the double over Leicester with a memorable winner from Steven Bergwijn sealing a crucial 3-2 win at the King Power Stadium. They also enjoyed a 3-1 win at home in May, meaning that they will go into this match with confidence against a side which they have enjoyed success against.
