The debate on whether Kingswood lies within Bristol or South Gloucestershire has rumbled on for years.

A survey of 114 of our Bristol Live readers found 72 per cent of respondents believe that Kingswood is in fact in South Gloucestershire, with 83 of the 114 who answered stating that they think Kingswood sits outside Bristol's boundaries.
On Facebook, the debate continued to rage on, and although most people favoured South Gloucestershire, not everyone was convinced.
One of our readers, Sharon Mccue, said: "We [people in Kingswood] live in Bristol. If you live in Weston-super-Mare you don’t say we live in North Somerset."
Janeen Stevens added: "I class it as Bristol but I pay council tax to South Gloucestershire! It has a Bristol postcode, so in my opinion, it's Bristol."
Danny Turner seemed conflicted in his response, saying: "I consider Longwell Green to be Bristol so Kingswood definitely is. I know by county lines they're South Gloucestershire though."
Karen Chard stated the facts and simply said: "[We live in] South Gloucestershire as the road sign confirming is down by the Black Horse pub."
Similarly, Steve Pearce added: "If you pay South Gloucestershire council tax it's in South Gloucestershire."
Another of our readers, David Langridge, joked: "Different planet all together that place."
