Will the Carolina Panthers have their top receiver for today’s divisional clash against the Atlanta Falcons?
Wideout Diontae Johnson has become somewhat of a fixture on the team’s injury report of late. After continuing to deal with a groin strain, a setback he sustained during the summer, the former Pro Bowler has been popping up with an ankle issue.
Johnson was a limited participant in each of Carolina’s three practice sessions this week. And on Friday’s injury report, the Panthers listed the 28-year-old as “questionable” for Sunday’s NFC South matchup.
Well, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Johnson should be in uniform later this afternoon . . .
#Panthers WR Diontae Johnson, listed as questionable with an ankle injury, should be good to go today, source said.

Johnson currently leads the team with 262 receiving yards.
If he does suit up, he’ll look to bounce back from a quiet performance in Week 5—where he recorded three catches for 23 yards in the Panthers’ 36-10 loss to the Chicago Bears.
